How Does Oil Cleansing Work?
For some, the idea of oil cleansing may seem counterintuitive. Don’t I want to get rid of the oil on my skin, not add to it? But surprisingly, the answer is not exactly. The goal of cleansing your skin, especially your face, is not to strip it dry. It is to cleanse in a way that supports balance. Many traditional products out there do more than just remove dirt and makeup. They strip away the moisture from your skin, leaving it more exposed to irritants, and leaving it excessively dry and ultimately causing it to produce more oil, not less, resulting in congestion and breakouts.

Primrose Oil is known for being high in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which helps strengthen the skin barrier and lock-in moisture, and is anti-inflammatory. This helps to reduce redness and irritation while again supporting your skin’s need for nutrients.
Rosehip Seed Oil is rich in fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6, and is high in Vitamin C, which can help improve uneven skin tone and brighten your skin. Rosehip Seed OIl also supports skin regeneration, which can help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.
Camellia Seed Oil is gentle and lightweight, which means it absorbs into the skin without being heavy and oily. It is high in oleic acid, helping your skin to hold on to moisture, and it is packed with antioxidants.

How to Use our Tallow-Based Oil Cleanser

Take a small amount of oil cleanser and massage onto dry face with fingers for 1-2 minutes.

Apply a warm, damp washcloth to the face to open pores and then wipe away makeup and dirt.

Pat dry, no need to wash away with water!
